I have thick curly hair, and I can't handle it. I wake up every morning with my curls all frizzy and wavy. My hair is an afro when i wake up. No matter what I use my curls are never nice. Help!!

I have to wet my hair every morning I have found that if you wet it and but the product in it and then blow dry the hair it helps I use a pomade and run it through my wet hair then use the Aussie mega scrunch gel and I get lots of compliments !

What should I do with my thick curly frizzy hair?? try straightening it. it might be hard to do this often (i dont know how busy your daily schedule is). also you can try different shampoos. i have very frizzy curly hair. i just got it cut to an angle and i use Fructise shampoo with the aussie three minute miracle (i dont have anything wrong with my hair its just htese help). you can also risk it and get it japanese starightened. though this DOES cost a few hundred dollars, they put chemicals into your hair and you cannot shower your hair for three days my sisters say its worth it. it lasts about six months
What should I do with my thick curly frizzy hair?? Oh I've so solved this problem! I have crazy curly hair and my former solution was lots of product which sucked. Trust me on this one... buy Infusium 23 leave in conditioner. The stuff rocks. Also, stop shampooing your hair so much (if you are). Wash it out sure but don't shampoo more than once or twice a week because it strips out all the oils and will make it frizzier.
Added bonus, it will make your hair super super soft. People touch my hair and flip out.

What should I do with my thick curly frizzy hair?? i have the same frizzy curly hair..and i dont have time to straighten it every day so i dont but i was it every other day and i use Garnier smoothing milk and anti-frizz serum and it works very well. when my hair is still wet i put in the smoothing milk and then i put in the serum while its wet too. Afterwards i blow dry my hair and put the serum in again..to add a lil bit of shine. by bloy drying it you dont fry your hair and it looks good since you can either do it straight or wavy by using a round brush. also at nite before i go to sleep i braid my hair or french braid it...it helps for it not to frizz you too much. if i ware my hair curly one day usually its frizzthe the next so the night before i brush it and braid it and it helps it to not be so frizzy.

What should I do with my thick curly frizzy hair?? ok, this stuff works great. go to www.meetmark.com and look for the curl goddess hair care line. The hair serum stuff is a small little bottle, but alot goes along way. get that stuff and put it on right after you get out of the shower while your hair is damp. also the gel and stuff is great it isn't crunchy, and keeps the curls smooth and pretty. You may also have some split ends so maybe a trim will help too.
What should I do with my thick curly frizzy hair?? Okay, first off, do not listen to everyone telling you to just straighten your hair. That is ridiculous. Straightening naturally curly hair like yours, and mine, is a lot of work and takes a lot of heat for it to look as good as girls with naturally straight hair. if you want to just damage it further, then straighten it, but if you want to keep it healthy, don't do that regularly.
I have very thick, curly hair as well and know what it feels like to have a huge mop of hair, trust me. My hair is down to the middle of my back, but it is healthy and I have learned to keep my curls healthy. The most important thing is to keep them hydrated. Use products that are made specifically for curly hair. Normal products will not work nearly as well. I use Curl Life by Matrix. Their shampoo and conditioner are amazing and they also have a mouse that is perfect for shaping your curls and fighting frizz all day long.
Another thing you need to do is NOT over shampoo curly hair. Curly, thick hair is a lot more dry and course than other types of hair, so it is important not to wash away your hair's natural oils too soon. If you take showers every day, I would suggest using shampoo and conditioner every other day, and then use just conditioner inbetween days. This way, you won't be stripping your hair of all it's natural oils with the shampoo and the conditioner will help keep it soft and healthy looking.
Another thing to help with split ends is to NOT brush or comb wet hair. I know this sounds tricky, but trust me, it is far more healthy for your hair to brush it before you shower. It will be a little difficult at first, but it will work, trust me.
Another tip, buy a diffuser if you don't already have one, or you can just buy the diffuser attachment to put on a normal hair dryer. You can use it after you shower and use a curly hair friendly product, and it will dry your hair while reducing frizz and will lock in your curls.
People are ALWAYS asking me, "Is your hair naturally curly?", and when I tell them yes, they then ask "Do you wish it was straight?", and I always say no! My curly hair fits my personality and I embrace it! Curly hair is awesome! Love your curls, they make you just that much more special hunny!

What should I do with my thick curly frizzy hair?? I have pretty much the exact same hair and the exact same thing happened to me in the morning. This is what I personally do and use.
I use Garnier Fructis Curl %26amp; Shine shampoo, conditioner, and leave in conditioner. I don't wash my hair every day, just 1-2 a week (this sounds gross, but your hair won't become all nasty, I promise. I play softball and I workout and my hair doesn't get all gross or anything). I don't conditioner my hair every day either, it just leaves build up in my hair. I do put extra conditioner on my ends though and it helps with split and dead ends, although I do need to trim them off just like everyone else.
For styling, I use a moisturizer (but this is because I'm half black), a gloss (I think its called Porcelain, but I hear John Frieda %26amp; Paul Mitchell works well), and Sunsilk Frizz Ease creme (green bottle). I apply all of these things on wet hair (I just stick my hair under the sink every morning). To hold, I use mousse (though I haven't needed it lately, even with all the working out we do in softball class), but some use hairspray.
I always let my hair air dry, but I hear a diffuser defines your curls. My hair still has really nice curl without a diffuser, but its up to you.
At night I put my hair in some sort of bun at the very top of my head (this way there won't be a big lump on the back of your head when you're sleeping). This helps stop my hair from being all crazy and wild in the morning, which leads to less tangle.
One more tip, I never actually towel dry or comb my hair when I style it. This takes out the curl. Instead, I squeeze all the water out and finger comb my hair. Another tip is if you put mousse on your hair after its been washed, when you re-wet your hair it will help bring curl back instead of just limpy curls.
I know this sounds like a lot and it takes a lot of time, but it really doesn't. It just takes more than the average person because I have so much hair!
And last but not least, DO NOT get your hair permantely straightened and do not striaghten your hair every day. I love my curls %26amp; you should too. Of course you can straighten your hair whenever you want, but enjoy your curls too. Don't just go with straight hair all the time. Not only can you be versatile, but you'll have healthier hair too.
