I'm not talking about what makes it curlier when it's wet, I mean what kind of a finishing hairspray is good for scrunching your curly hair??

I use Rave. Its in a silver bottle with like a turquoise cap. You can get it from Walgreens or Wal*Mart. It holds really well, and has a great scent. People always tell me my hair smells good when I use it !!

I have naturally curly hair and am a hairdresser and my favorites are - Covert Control by Tri and Masterpiece shine hairspray by TIGI bedhead! Both work great. There is also a spray the matrix curl life has that is a re scrunching spray for dry hair and it has some hold and boost the curl throughout the day.

Aussie Instant Freeze hair spray (extreme hold, aerosol--not pump) It dries super fast so your hair stays exactly where you put it. And it lasts all day. People are always asking me if I have naturally curly or permed hair~~actually I have neither, I just scrunch it and spray it with this hair spray. I'd be lost without it! Other people must love it too because stores are out of it a lot ~so I buy a couple cans at a time.

use mousse instead. it works much better. i use avon advanced techniques mousse, but i think any kind will work. but if you would really rather use hairspray, then i would use matrix. it comes in an orange bottle with a green top. or i would use garnier fructis hairspray. good luck!!
