I used to have really curly hair, so curly that people thought it was fake %26amp; I had it curled with a curling iron or permed. Now I colored my hair %26amp; had it bleached, plus I've been straightening with an iron every day %26amp; when I try to curl %26amp; scrunch it in the morning it no longer curls. Is there anything I can do? thanks so much

Sounds like you burned off all of the hairs outer shell (called cuticle) This is done by using a curling iron on the ends and then rolling it to the roots and waiting for the roots to get hot, by then the ends are fried. Too much re-coloring the ends also does that. Try using sponge or velcro rollers. Also try cutting the hair with a texturizing cut. That is a special way of making lots of layers. I am the sister of a stylist and my hair is naturally curly and while dying and bleaching will damage hair it shouldn't damage your curl you just mite need a booster there are product such as pumping curl which is cheap or expensive one such as curl boost by bumble bumble you can also use gel and hair spray and let it dry with the wet look and when it is dry you can crunch it more and the wet look will go away try using a frizz cream too so that it reduces frizz once you get back into wearing it curly you should be good!!!!

To start off I am a hair dresser, none of the things you have done should make it so your hair wont curl up again, bleaching it my have dried it out a lot, and made it more frizzy, So I recomend moisture treatments!

I have had exactly the same problem.My hairdresser first took all the colour out of my hair,then she dyed it brown(if you still want blonde in your hair,get some blonde highlights around the frame of your face but don't over do it just yet your hair needs to get better)then she cut layers in my hair which bought back the curl.

Your hair is in big need of TLC so also get some deep conditioning treatments done to your hair.I do one myself every week and get one done whenever i go to the hairdressers.

Your hair needs more moustuire! Use Lots of conditioner, and deep condtioning treatments. Stop using any heat styling tools. You can also try washing less often or using a milder shampoo.
