I have natural curly hair and my haircolor is at the moment dark dark brown with a red undertone in it. You can only see the red if I stand in the light. Do you think highlight/lowlights would be nice in curly hair?

No! I hate when people do that, I think it looks nasty, just keep it the way it is naturally. That's special. Most people don't have that natural highlight look when under light. keep it!

It really depends on how curly your hair is. If it is simply wavy, then I would say hilights wouldn't look good, but if your hair is curly enough so that you don't have to hairspray it to make it stay then hilights would look cute. Good luck!

If they're done with thin strands, not chunks of hair, it gives depth to the hair.

Yeah of course it would look good :-) if you're not sure get non permanent and experiment different colors, at least you have no long term commitment to something you may not like.
