I've got extremely curly hair, and I hate it. It's also frizzy. What I want is beautiful, wavy hair that is NOT frizzy. Help. lol

I have naturally curly frizz like hair too. This is what I do do get 'nice' curlsssss.ringlettes :)

*Do not use shampoo every day!!!! Just use conditioner.

*Also use a deep conditioner and rinse out.

*After shower use a pick to comb your hair. Use a leave in conditioner *pantene pro v has a new one for curly hair* Only use a nickel size amount.

*Use a good gel like fructis would work. And take a good 5 minutes SCRUNCHING YOUR HAIR. Try and avoid blow drying. If you have to scrunch and blow dry but leave damp. Use a diffuser.

*When damp, reapply the gel and scrunch again as it will 'set' the curls.

Hairspray. If you want use a hair clip to get some lift for 5 minutes then take out.

This process actually goes quite quickly after it becomes routine. I spend no more than 15 minutes from start to finish.

You know how the hairdressers do it ? Just do the same thing : When you come out of the shower after washing your hair, dry your hair with the hair dryer, but put it directly on your hair, it's like straightening your hair, but with a hair dryer! Just don't put the power on too high, you might burn your hair...that happened to me once : )

Well, that works on my hair, I don't know if it will work on yours !!!

My suggestion is to go to your stylist and tell them your want your curl relaxed. DO NOT let them chemically straighten your hair this is going to take out most of your curl. You will hate it. Instead you want them to comb a perm through your hair. I would not suggest doing this yourself because you can't make sure you are keeping the tension you need and that will make for some areas staying curlier than others.

Don't forget you don't want your hair chemically straightened you want them to relax your hair with a perm .

well you could straighten you hair then put spiral curls in it and once the curls start to fall it will cause a natural wavy look.
