That's a great question! My hair stylist always tells me she would never straighten her hair if she had my curls. When you spend your whole life not being able to run your fingers through your hair, it's kinda nice to be able to do so.

My mother spent aboot two years tryin' tae give me curly hair!! I used tae go intae school and soak ma heid, come home and say that some nasty kids had got me with a water bomb!! That's such a good question! I used to have straight hair and I really wanted it curly and now that it has somehow become curly over the years and now I want it straight.
