If i have naturally curly hair, and want to curl it with a curling iron....?

if i have naturally curly hair, and want to curl it with a curling iron, for more loose, flowy curls, should i let it air dry first and then curl it? or should i blow dry it out straight then curl it? also, should i use hairspray or what to help it stay and not frizz?

Air dry your hair. Put a little serum, like biosilk. Curl the strands, add a little mousse and to finish hair spray complete.

Blow dry and straighten first for more smooth curls.

Or, go the old fashioned way and wash your hair and use big old curlers and let it dry. That's way better for your hair.

blow dry it straight so you can start with clean straight hair it will curl beter and yes use hair sray but very little if you use to much it dosent look soft and pretty .

blow dry and straighten, then put some smoothing cream in ur hair. curl it then i would use hairspray or gel whichever u think is right for ur hair

hair drying will only cause frizz unless its a good professional dryer like the babyliss or T3. maybe straightewn and then curl? or just put in a straightening cream in your hair, and then curl.

if you want to loosen your curls, straighening and than curling would probley be your best bet. Hairspray can acutally make your hair more frizzy, so make sure not to use too much. Good luck!!!!!!!!!!

You should straighten it with a blow dryer first only a blow dryer no flat iron.then you can put the curls in .because your hair is curly the curls will stay in longer after you blow dry.I use paul mitchell works great
