Some people at school have their hair wavy/curly one day, then the next REALLY straight How can I do

even if they have naturally curly hair how do they make it really straight the next day then the same curlyness the next? I have straight hair..oh and can you give me some ideas on hairstyles for school ( my hair comes down to my chest...i have side bangs that come to my cheeks) thanks!! give me sites, anything!!

GO TO SALLY'S BEAUTY SUPPLY AND SPEND AT LEAST $40.00 ON A GOOD STRAGHTENING IRON (ONE THAT HEATS UP TO 440 DEGREES) THEY ARE FUN AND EASY TO USE BUT THEY GET REALLY HOT SO BE CAREFULL. SEPERATE HAIR AND START AT THE NAP OF THE NECK AND WORK YOUR WAY UP TO THE FRONT AND TOP.

TO CURL GET SOME REALLY GOOD MOUSE AND SUPERHOLD HAIRSPRAY AND WHEN YOU GET OUT OF THE SHOWER TOWEL DRY YOUR HAIR WELL AND APPLY THE MOUSE AND HAIRSPRAY WHILE YOUR HAIR IS WET AND THEN SCRUNCH YOUR HAIR WHILE YOU BLOW DRY IT. THEN HAIRSPRAY AGAIN, I'M SURE YOU'LL GET THE HANG OF IT SOON.

they probably have a flat iron and flatten their hair out. I reccommend the CHI iron.

they just use a straightening iron. that makes hair really flat and they take a shower each day and their hair is curly again

Well if it is naturally curly, then they probably just blow dry it straight and put some straightening products on it. You can do it easily.

a straightening/curling iron. wears out in a day or so.

mybe you could curl it? or make it all wavy?

when you get out of the shower, scrunch your hair. or put your hair in braids. or put your hair in a messy bun when its wet.

hope this helps

oh and the girls with the curly hair will just straighten it.

ok... they probably use a styling product that makes hair shiny and smooth, and then straighten it, and then shower the next day.

i have super straight hair, that is semi-long. i blow dry it every day (straight, but with a lot of volume). and sometimes if i have enough time straighten it. or when it's wet at night, and i want it to have some waves or something, i put tons of mousse in, and put my hair up in a messy bun. then, in the morning, i take more mousse and style/shape the pieces that i don't like.

good luck!

They probably have a flat iron, or blow-dry their hair straight. To get wavy hair with hair like yours, I'd take a shower at night and French braid your hair with thin strands and sleep on it. When you wake up, it will be wavier. You won't have curls, but it adds a touch of "I took time to get ready this morning" instead of "I just got out of bed". Otherwise, get a curling iron. For a haircut, I love haircuts with lots of layers in the back, and separate side bangs (that's what I have). When I braid my hair, the layers work great with the waves, and I don't have to spend money on a curling iron. If you're going straight, you might want to flat-iron or blow-dry your bangs. Just have fun, and stop worrying. Hope that helps!

i use to do that. i have very curly hair and one day i would wear it curly and the next straight. i would straighten mine but i would use anti-frizz stuff and some shine stuff and some heat protectant to keep it from drying out with the flat iron. but thats what i would do and it would look so straight. and the next day i would wash it and wear it curly. if you would like that look i would recomend a curling iron and some flexible hold hairspray. or take a shower and put rollers in your hair and sleep. the next morning when you wake up your hair might still be a lil wet just blow dry with the rollers still in and take them out when your hair is dry and then use some hairspray to keep it like that. good luck with that.

those people either have natural waves or they scrunch it. and then they shower, blow dry their hair straight and flat iron it. its pretty easy, anyone with staright or curly hair can do it.

for school, i would suggest a few variations on straight and wavy looks. one day, try blow drying your hair straight and in the morning, flat iron it if needed. keep it sleek when you wear it sleek and smooth. the next day, try keeping it straight adn then pinning up a little on the top of you r head, like a little bump. dont make it too puffy or too flat. some other day, when its wet, scrunch thru your hair with scrunching gel and put it in a messy bun to sleep thru. let it out and spray to keep waves. i hope it helps!

are you talking about me cuz im 13 and im like that too!

well, for me, i have naturally wavy-ish hair.

so one day, i will wash my hair and put some curl-defining gel on it. and then it will be really curly.

another day, i will leave it wavy-ish. which is my natural hair type.

and sometimes, i straighten it with a hair straighter[obviously]

To make your hair curly use curling gel and scrunch your hair a lot when its wet, then scrunch it with water when you're blow drying it, then it should be curly, if it's frizzy and really poofy use a straighener and close and open it continuously as you gradually move the straightener to the ends of your hair to make it less poofy/frizzy

For straight hair just blow dry it straight, using a comb, and then straighten it..If you can get 'It's a 10' -its a spray you use to control frizz, make your hair smooth, mostly everything..and just spray that in your hair when you straighten it, you may want to clip up half of your hair and straighten the bottom section, then un-clip all your hair and straighten it that way

You can wear it down those ways, or...:

Then you could try putting half of your hair in a pony tail/clip and wearing the bottom section down

When it's curly you could wear it in a pony tail and wear it to the side and wear the hair in front of your shoulder

I have like the same basic hair and that's what I like to do =)

One day they either leave it natural or schrunch it the next day the flat iron it.

You can find scrunching/curling gels and sprays just about anywhere. Look here for a good flat iron and straightening products;

Okay, well sometimes people curl their hair or leave it naturally curly one day, then decide to swtich it up and go strich straight the next. In order to make their hair straight, they use a flat iron. This clamps your hair, and as you pull it down your hair, the heat causes your hait to flatten. The next day, you can have curly hair by washing your hair which gets rid of the straight hair.

If you want hair that isn't so straight all the time, try blow drying it while turned upside down for more volume. Also try using a small amount of mousse in damp hair, by scrunching it into your hair. It gives your hair a natural wavy sort of look. You can also curl your hair with a curling iron or even use a flat iron to curl your hair. My hair is very straight, so straight that it holds so curl. It's a real drag. You could also try using a straightener to your hair and instead of letting go at the bottom, slowly turn the straightener up. This creates more bouncy looking hair.

A strange one I used to do was put my hair into about 10 plaits at night, wash it and go to bed with my hair still damp. Then in the morning take out the plaits and be left with frizzy hair which i could tie back into a ponytail. It gave my hair a lot more volume and looked different to everyone else (tho not in a bad way).

The thicker the plaits, the less frizz. ie: 20 plaits will make your hair super frizzy, 3 will make it wavey.

Also trying things like curling irons would help you to give your hair some wave. But make sure you don't use products and heat too often as they damage your hair in as little as 1 year.
