How do you get the "wet curly hair look"????

i have extremely curly hair,it is in ringlets..i am puerto rican.ok well when i go to the mall or something i see all these girls with the same hair as me and all the curls are seperated and it looks great..i mean ya its stiff but it looks amazing.and it looks like they just got out the shower b-cuz it looks soft and shiny.how do they do it?? i have gel and mousse and hairspray if that helps

My hair is different than yours but here's what I do:

Take a shower the night before

Sleep with it in areally tight ponytail/really tight braid

in the morning brush it out and put the mousse in it

if it's frizzy, put something on it (tresseme anti-frizz spray is really good, it's light and makes your hair shiny and can be bought at a drugstore for about $4)

Apply the gel to your wet hair and evenly distribute it throughout your hair. You can either let it air dry or use a blow dryer with a diffuser. Try both and see which method gives you the best results.

I have the same hair. For me, i just drench my hair, and put a lot of mouse on it. But so that it doesn't bunch up, i run my fingers through it. I dont think that you will need to scrunch it up if your hair is already curly. And another thing that helps is getting this mouse named "Treseme Curl Care". It really helps, its way better than the ordinary stuff. Hope that helps
