All you chicas w/ curly hair... i have a question for you...?

what shampoo do you use for your curly hair? like is there a specific one so that your curls look good all the time? i've used Garnier Fructis Curl %26amp; Shine Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner. %26amp; now that i've ran out of that, i bought Pantene Perfect Curls Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner. are those products good? or war there any others that your recommend?

Stay away from Pantene %26amp; Garnier!

They don't work well with curly, thick hair.

I found this out the hard way.

Plus they have these fillers, like clay, in their products and they coat the hair shaft and can cause breakage!

I've also tried Sunsilk Anti-Frizz. I wouldn't reccomend this unless your hair is EXTREMELY curly, like almost afro curly or unless you want to have looser curls. Because this product made my thick, curly hair get weighted down and flat.

I use Matrix Curl.Life Defining Shampoo.

It defines, seperates and tightens my curls.

Make sure you don't shampoo too frequently or your hair will become dry. 1-3 times is enough, sicne curly hair tends to be dryer.

i use herbal essences totally twisted..it comes in a purple thing!..its really good and ur hair smells amazing..hahahah but im the same way as u!..lol..like after i run out of something i try something new..and then when i think ive found something good..i use it and rebuy it like 2 times and then im like wait this stuff actually doesnt work!..but i have used herbal essences for like 2 years now!..its amazing!

oh no girl! don't use pantene or fructis! those are the two WORST for curly and thick hair..they sure smell good, but curly hair requires more than what those two shampoo porducts can give..

AUSSIE-is the number one shampoo for thicker hair,and is great for curly hair, they have wonderful curl shampoo porducts! and even scrucnch sprays! the thing with's aussie's scruch spary is, when you spray it in it makes your wet hair feel hard..whitch NO ONE likes having hard gelled looking hair!..but as your hair dries it keeps the curls in tact and full of shine, and the hardness wears off!! it becomes soft smooth and silky! and not to mention FRIZZ FREE!! aussie is a life savor! can be purchased at wall mart! and great prices!

Personally, none of those work too good for my puerto rican, dominican, cape verdean curly hair. lol. I prefer to spend a few extra bucks and go for a little higher quality. Biolage is a great professional and affordable brand. or you could use the matrix curl life brand. theres two other fabulous ones but i can't remember the names. I'll find out today and let you know later :]
