You and I have the same hair. I use any shampoo really and I use a GOOD thick conditioner with a leave in conditioner after I towel dry my hair. Also, something like Frizz Ease mixed in your hand with the leave-in conditioner then applied throughout your hair is great.

i would use a curl definition cream. this defines your curles or waves. removes frizz. keeps your hair in place looking great all day!

im sorry im not sure about a particular branded product but any company should make it. it might be in the shampoo and conditioner or hair treatments or hair styling sections of your supermarket

DON'T BRUSH CURLY HAIR WHEN IT IS DRY.

Try pantene hydrating curls products [all of them are amazing] or sunsilk anti-poof or anti-frizz products.

Wash your hair every other day [if its not too greasy] and condition every day. When you get out of the shower, towel dry your hair, and put in leave-in conditioner [dove is great] then run a wide-toothed comb through your wet hair. Let your hair air dry. I like to do this before bed. Then my hair is dry in the morning. Just make sure you don't sleep on your hair weird. Then in the morning, run a little mousse through your hair where it is frizzy. Keep it VERY conditioned, and try to stay away from heat tools if possible. Good luck!

I have the same texture of hair and I've been struggling with this for years. I would recommend two things:

1. A book called Curly Girl by a famous New York salon owner, which talks about how we need to care for our hair differently than people with straight hair, because it has a finer texture and breaks more easily, leading to what we call "frizz." It recommends not buying shampoos that contain the detergent Sodium Lauryl Suflate, or Laureth Sulfates, which are contained in most shampoos. So, the first step is to buy shampoos that contain no detergents, because detergents strip hair of all moisture and make it dried out and then it gets oily more quickly. You can find these shampoos at Trader Joe's for about 3 dollars, or other natural stores like Wholefoods.

2. A great product I just discovered is by John Frieda (The makers of Frizz Eaze Products). It's called Dream Curls Curl Perfecter and it's a clear spray in a plastic bottle. It works really well! Here's a link:

3. NEVER brush out curly hair. This is a cardinal rule of curly hair care. If you brush it, it will always get frizzy and puffy. Instead, when you get out of the shower, use a towel to scrunch it towards your scalp. The book talks a lot about how to do this.
