Does anyone have any tips for short, curly hair?

I have shoulder-lenght curly, curly, curly hair. I want to get it cut short (not too short, more like just above my shoulders) by late spring, but the last time i did this, i seriously had a head that looked like a football for months. Any tips?

i have that kind of hair to straigten it every day and after your done straighting it put hairspray init to hold it down do this every day for a month or so and your hair will start staying straight

My advice, get a hair straitener...i have REALLY curly hair and i can't live without my straitener...if you're going to take my advice seriously then look for the remington t-studio...it's not too hot for your hair or anything so don't worry about that...you'd be surprised how free your hair will feel when it's all straight and perfect...just don't straighten it on rainy days...hope this helps! =]

I have curly hair as well and I like to wear it down curly with a headband. But you shouldnt cut it from shoulder length just get it straightened because shoulder length curly hair is pretty long. My hair is a little longer than shoulder length when curly but when i straighten it its pretty long. So I think you should just flat iron your hair get layers and maybe add color if you want a change.
